Installing it on an iPad

Open loopandlink.app/app in Safari, tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen. It opens fullscreen after that, and it keeps working without a connection. Chrome on iOS cannot install web apps — it has to be Safari.

The app looks squashed or sideways

It is designed for landscape. Turn the tablet sideways, and make sure rotation lock is off.

My child cannot draw with a finger

Finger drawing is on by default. If it stops responding, open the settings gear inside the app and check that Allow finger drawing is on. Note that once an Apple Pencil has touched the canvas, finger input is ignored for the rest of that session so a resting palm does not leave marks — reopening the app resets that.

The stars disappeared

Progress is currently saved on the device itself, so clearing your browser history or site data erases it, and it does not follow your child to a second device. Parent accounts with synced progress are being built and will fix this. In the meantime, avoid clearing site data for loopandlink.app.

Within 30 days of purchase, email us and we refund it in full, no reason needed. The terms have the details.

Reporting a problem with a letter

If a letter is drawn wrong, or scoring seems unfair on a particular one, tell us which letter and what your child did. Letterforms are hand-drawn and we do correct them.
